How to Delete Your Account from Inside the App

To delete your account directly from the Infinette AI app:

• Open the Infinette AI app on your phone
• Tap your profile in the top right corner
• Go to Settings
• Scroll to About
• Tap Delete my account and data
• Tap Yes, delete everything to confirm

Your account will be permanently deleted and your data will be removed according to the retention schedule explained below.

How to Delete Your Account by Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion in writing, email us at hello@infinettehub.com from the email address linked to your Infinette AI account.

Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email in the message body so we can identify your account quickly.

We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR.

What Gets Deleted Immediately

The moment your deletion is confirmed, the following data is removed immediately and cannot be recovered:

• All your journal entries
• All your conversations with Ate Nette
• All your reminders and personal notes
• All your tracker logs (sleep, mood, hydration, pain, period, weight, expenses, and every other tracker)
• All your Letters to Tomorrow that have not yet been delivered (delivered letters live in the recipient's email and are no longer held by us)
• All your saved content in Saves
• All your plans and goal progress
• All your household lists, recipes, pantry, and meal plans
• All your calendar sync data and connections
• Any photos, stickers, or files you uploaded inside the app
• Voice input transcripts

What Gets Deleted Within 30 Days

The following data is retained briefly to allow safe processing and then permanently deleted within 30 days:

• Your account profile and authentication credentials
• Your subscription history with Stripe (only as long as required to issue any final refund or invoice)
• Basic technical logs that may have recorded your IP address or device type during your last sessions
• Backups in our secure infrastructure that run on rolling schedules

What We Are Required to Keep

Some data we are legally required to retain even after account deletion. This includes:

• Financial transaction records required by Dutch tax law (kept for 7 years, anonymized where possible)
• Records required for compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, including evidence that your deletion request was honored
• Any data subject to a current legal hold or active investigation, if applicable

We do not use any retained data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than meeting our legal obligations.

Deleting Specific Data Without Closing Your Account

You do not have to delete your full account to remove specific data. You can request deletion of any of the following at any time, while keeping your account active:

• Specific journal entries
• Specific tracker logs
• Specific conversations with Ate Nette
• Connected services such as Google Calendar (disconnect anytime from inside Settings)
• Marketing email subscriptions (unsubscribe link at the bottom of every brand email)

For partial data deletion that cannot be done from inside the app, email hello@infinettehub.com with the details of what you would like removed.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As a resident of the EU or EEA you have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This is known as the Right to Erasure or the Right to be Forgotten. We honor every valid request within 30 days.

If you believe we have not honored your request fairly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
