What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in.

Some cookies are essential for the service to work. Others help us understand how people use the app so we can improve it.

Cookies We Use

We use three categories of cookies on Infinette AI.

Essential cookies are required for the service to function and cannot be turned off. The session token sb-access-token keeps you logged into your account during your session (one hour), and sb-refresh-token refreshes your login automatically (sixty days). Both are set by Supabase, our authentication provider.

Preference cookies remember your settings, such as the app theme you've chosen, and last for up to one year.

Analytics cookies, used only when enabled, help us understand usage patterns in an anonymous and aggregated way. The _ga and _ga_* cookies are set by Google Analytics for visit counting and session tracking, and last for up to two years.

What We Do Not Use

We want to be clear about what we do not do with cookies:

• We do not use advertising or targeting cookies
• We do not track you across other websites
• We do not sell cookie data to third parties
• We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles

Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use set cookies during normal operation. These include Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention, and Google Analytics for optional analytics when you have consented.

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies which govern their use of cookies.

Your Cookie Choices

You have control over cookies in the following ways:

• Essential cookies, these cannot be disabled as the service cannot function without them
• Analytics cookies, you can decline these when prompted on your first visit
• Browser settings, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in

Legal Basis

We operate under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet) and EU ePrivacy Directive in addition to GDPR. Under these laws:

• Essential cookies do not require consent as they are strictly necessary
• Analytics and preference cookies require your consent before being set

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features or third-party services. We will update the date at the top of this page and notify you if changes are significant.
